This chance and privileged was given and granted to him by One of the biggest Presenters in J town tarzzy_talk officiql . 

We saw the likes of Talkit TV Africa on the the event , the likes of the face of Talkit TV was there and present 

,she was interviewed on how it feels to be the face of Talkit TV, which she did justice to.

Big producers Of J town like Zikko tunes , Magicsteez, Greezbeat, Twitchy soundz, were all present live in the show with entertaining sounds.

• [Fri. 24th Jan, 2020 @09:54PM]: We have been informed reliably that the student portal shall be opened for Online Payment of Acceptance Fee on Monday 27th January, 2020. Before then, make sure your JAMB registration number and a working email address is handy for the purpose of creating an account on the school portal when it is opened.
• [Mon. 27th Jan, 2020 @02:35AM]: The school portal is now open and online registrations have begun.

UNIJOS POST UTME NEWS UPDATE

• 22nd July: Unijos 2018 screening date has NOT YET been announced!
• 8th Aug: Unijos 2018/2019 screening dates (plus Direct Entry) has been announced! Candidates who made Unijos their FIRST CHOICE, and scored 180 AND ABOVE in the 2018  Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Exams are expected to register for the online screening via school portal which shall be opened from Monday 13th to Friday 31st August 2018 while Direct Entry Candidates shall commence their registration from Saturday 18th to Friday 31st August, 2018. NOTE: All payments are done via remita.net in favour of University of Jos while the online screening (registration and upload of relevant document) is done via the school portal unijos.edu.ng.

Unijos 2017/2018 Matriculation Ceremony for fresh students

Date for the University of Jos 2017/2018 Matriculation Ceremony for new students has been announced.

Date: Friday 13th April, 2018.
Time: 10:00am
Venue: J.T Husaini Stadium, behind Abuja Hostel, Unijos Permanent Site (see map below).

Breaking News: The University of Jos Matriculation Ceremony that was supposed to hold today (13th April 2018) has been postponed and rescheduled!

It will now hold on Friday 13th  April 2018, at the Multipurpose Auditorium, Main Campus.
An official letter was released by the Registrar Mr. Monday M. Dajem to this regard. Read below.

Unijos 2017/2018 Admission List Out, Plus Registration Dates And Procedures

The University of Jos 2017/2018 Admission List has been released and now available on school portal!

Candidates who applied for admission into the University of Jos for the 2017/18 session can now check their admission status online and also print their access Code/Slip if admitted to begin the registration process.

According to the new undergraduate academic calendar for the 2017/2018 academic session released recently by the directorate of academic planning and management of the institution, registration for new students is commencing from Monday 5th March, 2018 by 8:00AM and ends Thursday 29th March 2018 by 04:00PM

To Check Unijos Admission List and Status

1. Visit the school admission list portal on https://mis.unijos.edu.ng/ug/portal/admissions
2. Type the Jamb Registration Number or First Name or Last Name you wish to search and click the Search button to display results.
3. When you've found your name, click on the "print access code/slip" button and print the slip that will appear.

Note that searching with Jamb registration number is more precise and will save the stress of searching for your name among other similar names when you search by name. The choice is all yours.

Registration Procedure for freshers

1. Check Admission Status and Print Admission Slip (as described above)
2. Payment of School Charges by Students (via remita.net)
3. Bio-data Registration by Students (on school portal)
4. Screening at Faculty Registration Venues
5. Departmental Registration
6. Faculty Registration/Generation of Matriculation Number
7. Departmental Documentation and Online Registration of Courses

POST-UTME SCREENING OF PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATES FOR THE

2017/2018 ADMISSION EXERCISE

This is to inform candidates who made the University of Jos their institution of first choice and scored 180 and above in the 2017 UTME that the University website will be open from Monday, 11th September, 2017 to Friday, 29th September, 2017 for the UTME/DE online screening through https://mis.unijos.edu.ng
The deadline for the online screening of bio-data / credentials may not be extended. Therefore, any candidate whose screening details are not submitted within the stipulated time will not be considered for admission process.

1. Eligibility
   All candidates who made the University of Jos their 1st choice and scored 180 marks and above in the 2017 UTME JAMB examination.
2. General Instructions:
   1. Any candidate who fails to complete the online screening will automatically forfeit the chance of being considered for admission.
   2. Withholding information or provision of wrong information will lead to instant disqualification.
      Offenders shall be handed over to the law enforcement agents for prosecution in addition to being disqualified.
   3. Candidates are required to upload their current passport photographs.
3. Candidates' results will be screened according to the entry requirements of the respective programmes that they have chosen.
   The results of Pre-Admission screening will be available on the University of Jos website: https://mis.unijos.edu.ng/
4. Specific Instructions:
   1. Each candidate shall pay a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Niara (₦2, 000.00) only (excluding Bank charges) for the screening.
      Payment shall be made through Remita collection platform at any Commercial Bank operating in Nigeria as follows:
      1. Bank Branch:
         • Visit any Bank Branch operating in Nigeria
         • Present your payment to the Teller (over-the-counter) and say you want to pay University of Jos Pre-Admission Screening Fee via the Remita platform.
      2. Remita Collection Platform:
         • Access the collection platform via www.remita.net
         • Click "Pay Federal Government Agency"
         • Enter "UniJos Pre-Admission Screening" as payment details
         • Select any preferred electronic payment channels (ATM cards, internet Banking, mobile wallet, POS etc.) to complete your payment.
         The payer will be issued an electronic receipt following payment which he/she will present at the screening venue.
         Candidates are strongly advised against patronizing road side Business Centres for making payment. ALL PAYMENTS WILL BE VERIFIED BEFORE ADMISSION PROCESSING.
   2. Visit University of Jos Website https://mis.unijos.edu.ng/ for registration procedure as follows:
      1. Create an Account using your email address and phone number. A verification email is automatically sent to your email.
      2. Log into your email and click on the confirmation link to enable you continue your registration
      3. Complete your registration by providing your Bio-data information, including O' Level details, payment details (RRR and Date), upload your passport photograph and other information as required
      4. Click the 'submit' button to save your details on the University Portal
      5. Print Pre-Admission Screening Slip, which should include date of your screening

NOTE:

Misrepresentation/Falsification of documents is a serious offence. Candidates are, therefore, advised to submit genuine documents only. Anyone found guilty of this offence will be disqualified automatically and in appropriate cases, be handed over to the Law Enforcement Agencies.
Candidates are strongly advised to adhere strictly to the guidelines stipulated above and published requirements for admission into programme applied for.

Finally, Unijos 2016/2017 Second admission List is out!

We are pleased to announce to you that University of Jos has released the much anticipated supplementary admission list for the 2016/2017 academic session. More names have been added to the merit list that was earlier released by jamb last year (November 2016).

[UPDATE] The list has now been uploaded on the school site (including the merit list) and candidates can now check via https://mis.unijos.edu.ng/ug/portal/admissions

The second list of both UTME and DE students is also accessible from the various faculties / departments in the school and through Jamb website. However, there are some departments in the school that are yet to make their list public. Candidates can also check their admission status via jamb website.

2. Admission Requirements for PGDTE

a. Candidates should have at least HND or its equivalent in Science, Technology and Business discipline from recognized Institutions.

Unijos has announced the sales of admission Forms for Preliminary French Programme for the 2016/2017 academic session.

A Statement by the school registrar read as follows:

"Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Preliminary French Programme mounted by the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Arts, University of Jos.

DURATION OF THE PROGRAMME: This is a full-time one academic year programme.

ENTRY QUALIFICATION
Interested applicants must possess a minimum of four (4) credits at Ordinary level including English language. The possession of a credit in any Nigerian language would be an added advantage.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
Application Forms are available and can be obtained on-line on the University website: http://mis.unijos.edu.ng/Application-Form after payment of the sum of N4, 000 (Four thousand Naira only).

SUBMISSION OF FORMS AND CLOSING DATE:
All completed application forms should be returned to the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Arts, Naraguta Campus, University of Jos Nigeria on or before 28th February, 2017. and should contain:

i. Certified copies of academic qualifications.

ii. Two recent passport-size photographs.

iii. Indigene certificate.

iv. Birth certificate/statutory declaration of age.

Note:
(1) At the end of the programme successful candidates are required to show evidence of having scored the minimum UTME cut-off point for admission into the degree programme.

(2) The University does not provide accommodation for candidates offered admission into the Pre-degree programmes.

We have confirmed that Unijos 2016/2017 merit admission list has been released on Jamb website.

All those who applied for admission into the University of Jos can check the jamb website at http://www.jamb.org.ng  to check their admission status or visit any computer cafe nearby to check.
To check by yourself,

1. Open the jamb website and click on the "admission status" link or click here. 
2. Create a new account or login if you already have an account.
   Note: to create a new account, use chrome or uc browser for better performance.
3. Log in and click on "admission status".
4. Select "2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination"
5. Type your jamb registration number and click on "Check admission Status".
6. Your admission status would then be displayed.

If you have not been given admission yet, don't worry as this is just the merit list. We would inform you when the next badge of names is released.

UNIJOS 2015/2016 Post UTME dates

We have received latest info about the University of Jos 2015/2016 post UTME registration and test date and it is as follows:

• Payment and Registration begins tomorrow Monday, 10th August 2015 .
• Registeration is done online via the school website http://www.mis.unijos.edu.ng. 
• Post UTME test starts on 28th August and ends on 5th September 2015. 
• Registration fee is N2,000 (this is excluding bank charges, printing and internet data charged by cafe). Total charge is N3,000 at the cafe (for both payment, registration and printout of slip).
