MasterCard Unveils First Fingerprint Credit Card

MasterCard has unveils the next generation fingerprint single touch biometric card. 
This latest development in card services combines chip technology with fingerprint scanning technology.

This means that consumers would now be able to safely and conveniently make in store purchases and use their fingerprints to authenticate payment, hence, no need to remember card pin anymore.

The single touch biometric card has been launched in South Africa with 2 Successful trials already carried out by PicknPay & Absa.
